作者介绍
是一位古海洋学家，除此以外，她还撰写了《变化的世界：人类、自然和人类世的社会主义之争》（A World of Change: Humans, Nature, and the Fight for Socialism During the Anthropocene）、《海洋：过去、现在和未来》（The Oceans: Past, Present and Future）以及一个关于气候变化科学的季度专栏“戳中愤怒的野兽”（Poking the Angry Beast）。
1是一位资深的社会主义作家，也是《利润对抗环境》（Profit versus the Environment，People Before Profit出版，2017）、《现代启示录！气候变化、资本主义和革命》（Apocalypse Now！ Climate Change, Capitalism and Revolution）以及《是时候进行系统变革了吗？》（Is there time for system change？）的作者。
两人都是全球生态社会主义网络（Global Ecosocialist Network）2的成员。
本小冊子由爱尔兰生态社会主义季刊《断裂》（Rupture）3及《爱尔兰马克思主义评论》（Irish Marxist Review）4联合出版。
